This film is about the 1975 family murder in Teaneck NJ of a mother and her 3 children, dramatized. Poorly dramatized. The acting is summarily sub par and the filming amateurish, and I was ready to totally pan the movie but it did save itself with a decent ending. Thankfully, this was not another ‘evil white man’ piece, and while there are some racial elements to the movie I didn’t feel it became the focus of the movie. I don’t think I’d recommend it, but it wasn’t a complete waste of time. Turned it off after 29 minutes. I don’t think I’ve seen worse ‘acting’ and dialogue in a film. Ever. Truly, truly awful. The complete lack of genuine emotion from anyone after discovering the murders of three children was finishing point for us. Worst acting and script I’ve ever seen. I don’t know why people are giving it a high rating. Perhaps it was the first movie they’ve ever seen?
