Most likely, the negative reviews and ratings are coming from people who really don’t care about the tense political climate right now. I don’t know what to say to these people, other than Dave has every right to his feelings expressed in this. We get a look at Dave the man, more than Dave the comedian, and it’s really clear he needed the audience (who are from his home town) more than the audience needed him. Genuine emotions all around. I was thrilled to hear him speak, and most people I know were.
