Encanto at the Hollywood Bowl (2022)

The show was excellent, but there was one thing that distracted us the whole time and pulled us out of the immersion, the entire time! Very frustrating because the music and the show was excellent otherwise.The distraction at every appearance ruining the whole immersion was the character of Luisa. She was standing out unnecessarily and was complety out of sync with the rest of the singers in terms of similarity to the movie characters and costume (or the lack of). The quality of the singer playing her character was also the worst in the whole show. Our child was dissapointed and was pointing that out the whole time, that she does not look like the character of Luisa in the movie.Otherwise… a 10 Star show and for sure looks way better being present there.
