The unconventional plot and the immaculate on-screen talent doesn't save Her from feeling bland. I felt that there were no stakes throughout the film, so the third act failed to keep me emotionally invested. The performances were great. I actually believed that a man was in love with an operating system (luckily with the voice of Scarlett Johansson), and the camera work was beautiful. The main problem with this film is it's lack of substance.

this film shows, what I believe to be, great foresight to where that nature of relationships are headed. It captures how relationships, no matter how good they can seem to end in disaster for both parties, for almost no reason. It shows how over time, this lack of a lasting relationship can take a tole on someone. Despite this, this movie turned out to be very charming and heartwarming. A must see.

A perfect depiction of the reality that is to come. This is the romance of the future. I disliked the nude scene, I feel it was entirely useless. The nude scene was just another ploy to sexually objectify women as highly sexual people. I loved the way the plot moves. The movie in itself was great, with twists and turns that any relationship would have. The coverage of the unique issues which arised between Theodore and Samantha were quite magnificent. One of my favorite films is this one.
