A powerful absorbing drama with an outstanding performance from Chris Bunton and grounded by the great performances of Jerome Pride and Deborah Jones. And great work from Gerard O’Dwyer and the rest of the cast.

This one completely slipped under my radar. Took a few days to really sink in. It’s a very unconventional and unpredictable film that really sneaks up on you. Took me a while to process it – it’s a pretty layered and has an ending that really stays with you. For a small film, it’s beautifully realised. Jerome Pride is outstanding, and Chris Bunton smashes any and every stereotype you can think of as the main character Danny.
