Definitely one of the cheesiest movies I have seen. It has a good ole plot line that every other chick flick has and you could easily guess what was going to happen everything that would happen, but it is a good laugh. My wife is watching and I bolted halfway through. Would rather putz about and do chores than continue watching. Scrubbing pans is more enjoyable. This less-than-Hallmark production feels like a fevered reverse conservative victimhood fantasy, with maniacal animal rights zealots banning rodeos for whatever reason and the cowboys with straight goodboys ethos taking their licks but ultimately showing them what’s what. It could have worked. But the soap opera acting, on the nose leaden dialog and nuance-free character development tank the whole thing. NOT time well spent. The only like able character is the main cowboy. The acting throughout the entire thing was painful to watch. I had high hopes and thought this movie was going to be super cute, but I was very wrong. I couldn’t stop cringing. The parts that were supposed to be cute were awkward, the parts that were supposed to be serious were laughable at how cheesy the actors were. That’s 90 minutes I’ll never get back. Save your time and skip this one. It’s a hard pass!
