Two former baseball players, Ben (Jeremy Gardner) and Mickey (Adam Cronheim), cut an aimless path across a desolate New England. They stick to the back roads and forests to steer clear of the shambling corpses that patrol the once bustling cities and towns. In order to survive, they must overcome the stark differences in each other's personalities. Ben embraces an increasingly feral, lawless, and nomadic lifestyle while Mickey is unable to accept the harsh realities of the new world and longs for the creature comforts he once took for granted. A bed, a girl, and a safe place to live. When the men intercept a radio transmission from a seemingly thriving, protected community, Mickey will stop at nothing to find it, even though it is made perfectly clear that he is not welcome.

Interesting movie. I think we can all agree that maybe she wasnt the best choice for VP, but is that her fault? What I think happened is that someone who wasn't ready for the position was pushed into the light and sadly it broke her. It has now turned her into a completely different person. Also what shocked about this version of the story is that it seemed John McCain couldn't be bothered with her. He should have been the one to set straight what she needed to do. It also seems that it really didnt matter who the running mate was because no one could touch Obama the celebrity. So glad that he will be out of office this time next year and hopefully America makes a better choice this time.

Sarah Palin, as once mentioned in the film about criticism and deadly reputation thereafter, has come under attack recently on the family dog being mistreated by son, seeing standing on dog to reach the sink. John McCain is has and was the center of the film for its few minutes along with the relationship that deepened because of it, Sarah becomes the gold. Film mainly catergorized by its backdrop from real time events, and characters that made due, the speeches and successes of these investigations and relationships are chronicled behind the scenes. Elaborated by the main man, the right buttons, talks, encouragement, emphasis, toward the campaign on what to know and what to understand, the exposure and faults taken from clever misunderstandings and faults of the media exposing all quite the same are broadcasted.

Since her historic VP bid in 2008 i have been fascinated with Sarah Palin. I have read biographies, watched SNL clips, Katie Couric interviews, the works. Never before have I seen Sarah Palin portrayed in an even slightly sympathetic light. Don't get me wrong, this is not a Republican funded propaganda film but instead what I would imagine to be a fairly accurate portrayal of what happened on that fateful campaign. Julianne Moore portrays Palin brilliantly, well deserving of her Emmy and Golden Globe wins. This is a tale pf a woman, once with a promising political career who simply got in way over her head and destroyed her own aspirations in doing so.
