At 12 years old, Carrie Watson places a piece of wedding cake under her pillow when her mother tells her about the superstition that doing so will ensure you dream of your future true love — and that night, Carrie dreams of a handsome man meeting her at the altar. Fast forward a couple decades, and Carrie, now a successful chemist (and amateur baker), is prepping the wedding cakes for her little sister, Lydia’s wedding. When will I ever learn?The male lead is sexy and sweet with a big secret. She acts like a silly schoolgirl. Coy might be the word here but there is nothing alluring about her behavior. What is she afraid of? Growing up maybe.The plot is solid and makes for good romantic conflict to push the story forward. There has to be a reason for girl to hate boy and this one comes through, dumb as it is. The acting and directing are ok but the writing could use some help.Production values are good. Sound, lighting, etc.
